Stan’s Pizza Joint Turns 10!
In 1999, Stan Reid opened a pick-up delivery pizza business called Pizza Factory. After 10 successful years in that location, he partnered with Judith Gauge to create Stan’s Pizza Joint. And so the renovations began in late 2008, with the new expanded restaurant opening in January 2009. This featured a family-friendly environment with 50 seats, liquor license and many TVs to watch everyone’s favourite sports.
Since then, Stan’s Pizza Joint has become a household word in North Burnaby. They have contributed to fundraisers galore, provide hot lunches for the schools, and have been the unofficial supplier of pizzas to countless birthday parties. Stan is also very popular in the business community catering to small and large functions. Stan Reid, co-founder of Stan’s Pizza Joint, is particularly proud of another local recognition: “One of the high points of Stan’s Pizza Joint’s history so far was making the 2014 Burnaby A-List, where the readers voted us Burnaby’s best Pizza.”
Stan’s Pizza Joint has also received many other accolades from other publications and competitions. Stan’s Pizza Joint prides themselves in having excellent quality food combined with outstanding customer service. They never get tired of hearing people say, “We love your Pizza!”
