HMA Welcomes a New Marketing Coordinator
There’s a new girl in town in Burnaby Heights – specifically, at the Heights Merchants Association. Katrina Caguioa joined the HMA team as their new marketing and events coordinator on Monday, March 19. She will be responsible for organizing many elements of Hats Off Day and other Heights festivals, creating Burnaby Heights’ marketing materials, social media, and promotional presence.
Katrina came to the role from the Strathcona Community Centre Association, where she contributed in a variety of ways to developing and running programming, activities, events and communication materials. She is also a past employee at the A-Star Art Parlour, an award-winning family entertainment business, as well as a long-time volunteer at Collingwood Neighbourhood House and Collingwood Business Improvement Area. She also successfully completed an internship, which was extended into a paid role, at Will Creative, a creative agency in Vancouver.
The BCIT graduate from the Marketing Management in Communications program is excited at her move to this vibrant Burnaby community.
”The Burnaby Heights area has great history and people. What’s not to love? I am excited to serve and know more about this passionate community.” says Caguioa.
The HMA welcomes Katrina to the neighbourhood and invites Burnaby Heights merchants and residents to do the same when they see her.
