Valentine’s Live Music night at Oui Coffee

Oui Coffee (4092 Hastings Street) hosts Valentine’s Day from 6 to 9 p.m. on February 14 with live music, a special 12oz latte, and chocolate and strawberry cannoli for $7. Enter to win their Valentine’s Day draw simply by making a purchase. Enjoy a relaxing and intimate dessert with your loved ones at Oui Coffee.

Hot Chocolate Fest at Chez Christophe and Glenburn Soda Fountain

Chez Christophe (4717 Hastings Street) and Glenburn Soda Fountain (4090 Hastings St) are two Burnaby Heights spots out of the 23 participating shops featuring special Vancouver Hot Chocolate Fest menus. Check out the drool worthy creations they have planned for February. Chez Christophe’s “Tropical Storm” is from Haiti Single Origin 65% dark hot chocolate with spiced pineapple gel. Served with a marshmallow meringue treat. Available from January 19 to February 13. Chez Christophe’s “Breakfast in Burnaby” was inspired by French Toast! This 34% Zephyr hot white chocolate features a maple drizzle and pecan crunch. Served with a mini brioche bun and available from January 19 to February 13.

Glenburn’s “Freeze Tag” is peanut butter-infused Callebaut milk chocolate that has been first frozen and then blended. Served with a house-made peanut butter and chocolate cookie and available from February 2 to February 8. (Except Monday, February 6.)

Glenburn’s “Hot Tamale” is a spicy cinnamon hot chocolate made with Callebaut chocolate infused with cinnamon “red hots” and topped with a house-made spicy, cinnamon marshmallow. Served with a house-made, flame-shaped sugar cookie and available from February 9 to February 14. (Except Monday, February 13.)
