Throughout North Burnaby Dental Group’s 60 years in the Heights community, the practice has been lucky to see the positive effects of working in such a community-driven city like Burnaby in Canada.
“We have such a multigenerational practice, there are so many times where I see a great-grandchild and all of the people in between,” says Dr. Lisa Kostecki, who, alongside with Dr. Ron McCaffrey and Dr. Houman Houchmand, spoke to the HMA. “[That] is a really special thing that you don’t see in a city of this size anymore.”
“I’ve treated some patients who are now bringing their grandkids to me,” Dr. McCaffrey chimes in.
Of course, with such a long history in the neighbourhood, it was inevitable that the practice would grow alongside their customers’ families.
Dr. Kostecki adds, “We try and make it so we can accommodate all of our patients’ needs and not require them to go anywhere else, so they can feel like this is the one place they know they can go for all their treatment needs.”
