Imagine a store where kids can actually touch toys and play under a tree, discover fairy doors hidden around the shop, and see the final price of items so it’s easier to choose the perfect toy to spend their allowance on.
This place is Candy Apple Toy Company, the six-month old store in the Heights that has both kids and their parents’ needs in mind while supplying toys and items they can’t find anywhere else.
“We’re very one on one,” says Candice Brown, owner of Candy Apple Toy Company. “It lets me get to know the customers […] and make those connections that Toys R Us doesn’t have.”
It’s this customer relationship and strong community base that drew Candice to opening her first business in the Heights.
“[It’s a] great location near strong, great companies,” says Candice. “It’s a really, really good area for young families and for me to thrive.”
Be a kid again, or bring your kids to Candice at Candy Apple Toy Company for educational and fun toys you can’t find anywhere else.
